These terms govern your use of Flapboard (the "Service"), operated by Ulixes Consulting ("we", "us"). By creating a board or an account, you agree to these terms.
Flapboard lets you create password-protected "split-flap" message boards, edit their content and layout, and display them full-screen on any device. A Free plan is available with no account required; a paid Pro plan (billed monthly, cancel anytime) unlocks larger boards, guest submissions, scheduled automations, and saved templates.
You don't need an account to create or use a board — a board is protected by the password you set when creating it, which we cannot recover if lost (only reset via the recovery email you optionally provide). Creating an account lets you claim boards, subscribe to Pro, and manage everything from one place. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and board passwords confidential.
You may not use Flapboard to display or collect content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or infringes someone else's rights. If you enable guest submissions, you're responsible for moderating what gets published to your board. We may suspend a board that violates this section, with or without notice.
Pro is billed monthly or annually per account through our payment processor, Mollie. You can cancel at any time; your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which your boards automatically revert to Free-plan limits — nothing is deleted. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial periods.
We aim to keep Flapboard available and responsive, but the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including uninterrupted availability. We're not liable for content you or your guests publish, or for losses arising from downtime, data loss, or use of the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Flapboard after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
These terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
